Our Founders
It started with a conversation on a warm autumn evening in 2025.
Sarah and Alicia met for dinner at Polo Grill in Tulsa’s Utica Square. Their exchange moved easily from food to family to recent vacations.
Soon, the dialog turned to something both had been noticing: Korean beauty and Korean skincare were increasingly impacting aesthetics in the United States. Each was watching the shift, but from a different perspective.
Sarah had spent years in the treatment room studying skin and patient outcomes. On her trips to Korea, she was less interested in the latest food scene and more interested in touring laboratories, putting on bunny suits, and learning how advanced formulations were developed and why they worked.
Alicia saw the opportunity from a different viewpoint. A strategic thinker and entrepreneur, she recognized the gap between innovative Korean labs and American providers. Breakthrough products and philosophies existed, but meaningful connection, education, and practical clinical application were often missing.
Both believed Korea’s disciplined philosophy of skin health had the potential to transform how aesthetic providers approached care in the United States.
As the evening progressed, their individual observations fused into a single realization: the American aesthetic industry didn't just need more products; it needed a new philosophy. They began to wonder: Could we build the bridge?
Over the months that followed, their question turned into clinician visits, evening research, and late-night calls to contacts in Korea. Doubt turned into excitement. The vision sharpened and a business concept was formed. This wouldn’t be a simple distribution business. It would be a community, the clinicians and the patients they serve, working with the best of K-beauty together. Their belief became SOAMfactor.
